So I just released v2 of my texture pack for Red Faction and whats different? Well instead of you installing it as a Total Conversion mod youll now install it as a clientside mod allowing you to enjoy it on any server you enjoy. Basically now all you have to do is install Dash Faction then download my texture pack and literally extract it to your Red Faction install location. Everything in the download here is properly organized so it ought to work perfectly with Dash Faction
v2 also is starting to include upscaled textures provided by the mapping community. At the moment there is only like 40+ custom maps all DM upscaled in the pack. The end goal is to do this for ALL of the community made maps.
What this means also is that now if you download and install the latest version of my texture pack and join a server using a custom map I upscaled, youll download said map from the server and whence you load into said map itll automatically be true 2k quality for you.

I have officially released my True 2k Texture Pack for Red Faction 1. Get it via the Texture Packs page here.
To install the pack I made it as simple as possible. Literally just install the latest version of Dash Faction and then download my pack and extract its contents to where your game’s install directory. Then when launching the game threw Dash Faction just scroll threw the list of mods in the bottom of th launcher and select “2k” then launch the game and enjoy.
